One of the hardest things to do is admit when a particular path is no longer serving you. It could be a business strategy that has become stagnant, a project that no longer excites you, or a goal that doesn't align with your entrepreneurial vision anymore. Recognising when it's time to change direction requires self-awareness and a willingness to be honest with yourself about what isn’t working.
Start by asking yourself if the path you're on still aligns with your long-term business goals and values. If the answer is no, or if you feel consistently unfulfilled, it may be time to consider a shift. This doesn't mean making rash decisions, but taking time to evaluate whether you're holding on out of habit or because it’s truly where you want to be. Once you acknowledge the need for change, the process of finding a new direction becomes less about fear and more about opportunity.
