Building a minimum viable product (MVP)

Section 1 : Focus on core functionality

33%

When developing your MVP, focus on solving one core problem with the simplest set of features. It’s easy to get carried away with ideas and add-ons, but an MVP requires discipline. Ask yourself: What’s the one thing my product must do to deliver value? Prioritising this core functionality helps you deliver a clear, effective solution that’s easy for users to understand and engage with.

For example, if you’re building a food delivery app, your MVP could focus solely on ordering and delivering food, leaving out loyalty programmes or advanced personalisation features. Launching with a simplified product will help you learn how users interact with the core service and decide which additional features to develop based on their feedback.
